Armani Information
Young Armani was enrolled in the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence but when his father unexpectedly died art school was forgotten. Art, however, was not. It was in Pisa that Armanis dream of studying art was finally realized. Giuseppe experimented in wood, clay, alabaster and marble. His reputation grew with each creation. Soon art enthusiasts from around the world started to flock to see Giuseppe Armanis latest creations. In 1975, Florence
Sculture dArte, recognizing Armanis genius, offered him
the opportunity to work exclusively for them. For more than 25 years
Armani has created masterpieces ranging from the traditional Capodimonte
style to the more daring, contemporary and whimsical sculptures. Always
and remarkably, Giuseppe Armanis figurines have the spark of life,
and his breathtaking realism continues to amaze his many admirers the
world over. Today at Florence Sculture d'Arte, Master Sculptor Giuseppe Armani guides a selected team of talented sculptors. Collectors around the World have recognised the exquisite attention to detail and the artistic spirit which is ever present in the meticulously handcrafted and hand painted figurines. Older items are now only available on the secondary market. Take a look at our new edition for 2003 - "Winter Spirit". |
